Anuj is a post graduate in Apparel Design from the National Institute of Design (NID). He was awarded the prestigious Charles Wallice India trust scholarship in 2002 to study Masters in High performance Sportswear Design from the University of Derby, UK.

He later taught design in NID, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) and Srishti School of Design, Bangalore. He has been involved in various projects in the area of development of indigenous crafts and training of crafts persons. He has designed performance wear for various high profile companies in India.
